ITINERARY

    • You will be greeted at the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport by a driver.

    • Arrival and check-in to the hotel.

    • You will meet the Kandu team and get settled in! 

    • 3 course dinner watching the sunset and briefing for the coming days.

    • Early wakeup call and transfer to the harbor.

    • A selection of snacks will be offered on the boat.

    • We will head off in search for the whales.

    • Depending on the previous sightings, we will attempt to search for Sperm Whales or Humpback Whales (different sides of the island).

    • Return to the hotel for lunch.

    • Free time in the evenings.

    • Group dinner at a restaurant (not included in price)

    • Photograph exchange


    • Early wakeup call and transfer to the harbor.

    • Departure from the hotel around 9:00am.

    • We will hike the Tamarind Falls (also known as Tamarin Falls or 7 Cascades) consists of not one but 12 incredible waterfalls!

    • After about 10 minutes, you’ll hear the sound of rushing water until you finally arrive at the top of the first waterfall.

    • We will walk across the river and follow the path to the other side where we will walk behind the waterfall until we reach the emerald pool we choose to swim in and have some snacks!

    • Hike time (not including swimming): 2h.

    • Dinner at the hotel.

      • Accommodation 7 nights and 8 days

      • Hot coffee & snacks on the boat every day

      • Daily transport to the ocean excursions & 1 hike day

      • Snorkelling equipment (we recommend for each individual to bring a 2mm wetsuit)

  • You can check the availability for the trip you would like to book for and send us a WhatsApp with your full name! Our team will get back to you within 24h with a confirmation of availability and a link to pay the deposit in order to secure your spot!

  • It is a requirement to be able to know how to swim in the ocean!

    Please remember this is an ocean safari!

    You do not have to be a scuba-diver nor a free-diver, you just need to know how to swim!!

  • In all our trips, each room has 2 people!

    If you are coming with your partner / friend, then you will be put in the same room together!

    If you are travelling solo, you will be put with another solo traveller of your same gender!

    Rooms alone can always be requested at an extra price.

  • We do! This would fall under our “Private” trips category.

    We have created and run over 10 private family trips with children ages ranging from 2 - 16! We customise the tour depending on the number of kids, their ages and what you want to see & experience!
